link_text_color__hover_enabled=&#8221;on|hover&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>The Town Hall of Alcalal\u00ed, as part of its duties as a public entity, has a firm commitment to eradicating gender discrimination and promoting actions to foster equal conditions between men and women.<\/p>\n<p>This commitment was consolidated in 2014 with the development of the I Plan for Equal Opportunities between Men and Women in the Municipality of Alcalal\u00ed, created to guarantee women&#8217;s rights, promotion, and equal opportunities, as well as to reinforce public policies through a gender perspective.<\/p>\n<p>To continue the process of eradicating gender-based violence and achieve full commitment to municipal equality policies that promote the reduction of inequalities between men and women in Alcalal\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>This plan arises from the need to continue the strategies proposed in the first Plan from a cross-cutting perspective, considering the updated reality of the municipality through a new diagnosis. The patriarchal system of social organization remains in place in crucial areas such as domestic chores, childcare and elderly care, wage differences, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Despite the progress made, it is the duty of public authorities to correct the inequalities that women still suffer today.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">With this objective, the Town Hall of Alcalal\u00ed <strong>approved the I Plan for Equal Opportunities between Men and Women by plenary agreement on February 13, 2014.<\/strong> You can consult the minutes, specifically point <\/span><a href=\"\/es\/actos-de-pleno\/\" style=\"font-size: 16px;\">5.- Approval of the Plan for Equal Opportunities between Men and Women of Alcalal\u00ed.<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>This plan aims to contribute to the development and deepening of democracy by realizing the full rights of the citizens of Alcalal\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>This plan is an open and participatory document, a working plan, a tool that binds the town hall and through which a commitment is made to the citizens and development with equality.
