«Feslalí, February is Alcalalí » is held annually in February.

Feslali is celebrated every year and usually lasts four weeks in February.

The birth of this festival was linked to the blossoming of the almond tree. The landscape of Alcalalí was drawn by terraces full of almond trees that in February reached their maximum splendour with their flowering. Unfortunately this is no longer the case. The appearance of the Xylella fastidiosa bacterium and the eradication policies have led to the disappearance of almost all the almond trees in Alcalalí.

In any case, and reinventing ourselves, we continue to offer new editions of Feslalí every year.

Feslalí is gastronomy, hiking, photography, music and craftsmanship.

Although the programme changes from year to year, there is usually a wide range of activities on offer. This offer is provided by commercial establishments, local associations, neighbours and the municipality.

The photography competition, the theme of which changes every year, has become a tradition at Feslalí. We have held seven editions and hope to continue with many more.

Gastronomy also plays an important role in Feslalí, in each edition the bars and restaurants of the municipality offer us their best repertoire of tapas and local and seasonal cuisine.

For those who prefer to walk around Alcalalí, there are two versions of a route that can be done on foot, by bicycle or with children. In these Wikiloc links you can consult the low difficulty route and the medium difficulty route.
