Culture
CULTURAL ACTIVITIES
The Town Hall promotes cultural, recreational, and leisure activities throughout the year. These actions are organized in collaboration with the Alicante Provincial Council and the Marina Alta Cultural Association.
On special dates such as Christmas, Easter, October 9th, patron saint festivals, etc., the Town Hall organizes theaters, concerts, workshops, exhibitions, drawing contests, etc., aimed at all audiences.
The municipality also has a significant associative movement that organizes interesting and diverse activities. In the annual cultural program, we can find everything from mosaic classes to philosophy, dance, astronomy, etc.
The Town Hall collaborates by providing the necessary classrooms in the Civic Center and the Multi-purpose Building.
Education
In the municipality of Alcalalí, we have a Primary Education School called “CRA Terra de Riuraus,” with a total of 40 students enrolled in studies from Early Childhood Education to 6th grade (ages 3 to 11). The school offers a lunch service.
Throughout the year, various cultural activities and trips are organized in conjunction with other schools from neighboring municipalities.
During the year, the Town Hall organizes courses based on the training needs and demands of the residents. These are mostly courses aimed at providing basic knowledge to facilitate entry into the labor market or to improve existing skills. Generally, the courses are held in the computer room located on the second floor of the old Town Hall or in the training room of the Multi-purpose Building.
